Good morning breakfast: Pandan Chiffon Cupcake

When I was young, I was a fun of all sorts of cupcakes and now as I grew older I became so picky. I wanted something very soft and bouncy. I love moist cakes and cupcakes but I would love it better if it would be soft as a cloud. Then I learned of sponge and chiffon cakes few years later (high school years) which now I am very found of. Chiffon cake for me is heaven ha ha... You know, the feeling of it when you touch and the lightness of it.

Tyne and Shiva our furr kids

Being a mom is like working 24/7. You wake up in the morning making breakfast, attend to everybody then do the chores, etc. I am a housewife but not a mommy yet. I feel just like a mom because I tend to 2 little furr kids.

Left: Shiva (Pomeranian) Right: Tyne (Lhasa Apso)
Say hello to Tyne and Shiva-our furry kids. :)

What's for dinner: Dinengdeng/Inabraw (Veggie Stew)

Bahay kubo, kahit munti,
ang halaman duon ay sari-sari.
Singkamas at talong,
Sigarilyas at mani.
Sitaw, bataw, patani.
Kundol, patola, upo't kalabasa.
At saka meron pa,
Labanos, mustasa.
Sibuyas, kamatis,
Bawang at luya.
Sa paligid-ligid ay puno ng linga.

This is a classic (ever most famous) Filipino folk song. It's about a small humbled hut with lots of
veggie plants around. Anyway, I was singing this because of the menu I am going to talk about today is about an Ilocano vegetable stew known as Dinengdeng (also called Inabraw by others).
